A couple of years ago, while on a trip to London, I was invited to hear a talk by Don Beck on 'Spiral Dynamics'. Don Beck is a global guru who advises heads of state and other leaders on how, as he puts it, 'it's the culture, stupid' (i.e. not the economy.)
