While I have to calibrate this with other priorities regarding Europe, Mideast and global business it seems to be a good opportunity to comunicate the bright green qualties of "Cultural Creatives" in context of pre-green nexus on a large global scale and trans-green yellow/turquoise emergence. Points 2 and 3 suggest this possibility. Would be nice to meet some globally acting and oriented Integral colleagues from across the globe in Washington.
Hoping to see and detect Howard Bloom's Pentad - conformity enforcers, diversity generators, inner judges, resource shifters, and intergroup tournaments -at work.
And communicating with full force-if not offered - the necessity of meshworking purple/red//blue complexes around the meridian systems of global trouble spots - at the stage. While Global Mind Shift, -Brain and other green-on-steroid-approaches (incl Peter Senge and Otto Scharmer) are already full speed ahead these foundations (with ovrewhelming necessity) have to be laid before and simultaneously.
South Africa, Dubai, Singapore, South East Asia, Eastern Europe, Shanghai, Russia, Brazil , India, Ireland and other most fascinating emerging areas with a crucial mass of over 50 Percent of World Population (remember the 70_30 ration Alan Tonkin from Global Values Network mentioned earlier)
"The basic split in the world is that around 70% of the world population cover the spectrum Purple/Red/Blue with the other 30% covering Blue Order, Orange Enterprise and Green Environmental issues. If the UN was based on a Security Council based on one man one vote it would become a Red/Blue organisation. Until there is a fundamental shift in values the developed world is going to battle to get Western style democracy to work however much they might like to think it will work. In terms of our findings with the Global Values Monitor (GVM) there are minimal percentages in Yellow Integral with almost no Turquoise to speak of"
And really wonderful to do it close to White House with next US President Barack Obama.

Conference Overview
There is nothing more critical in the world today than to bring people together from around the world to work together to solve our mounting and ever more critical global challenges. State of the World Forum, in partnership with Wisdom University and Rough Cut Productions, is convening a new State of the World Forum in 2009 designed to catalyze the innovative ideas, action oriented people, and enabling technologies required to shape constructive change. The 09 Forum will have three central themes:
1. The first theme is that the world is rapidly running out of time to solve our global challenges. Our lack of action on global warming is now threatening human civilization itself. James Hansen, Chief Scientist for NASA, has stated in an article in Science magazine that "if humanity wishes to preserve a planet similar to that on which civilization developed and to which life on Earth is adapted, paleoclimate evidence and ongoing climate change suggest that CO2 will need to be reduced from its current 385 ppm to at most 350 ppm." Hansen details six irreversible tipping points, including massive sea level rises and dramatic changes in rainfall patterns, that we will soon pass if we don't get back down to 350 soon; and the first of them, judging by the recent melt of Arctic and Antarctic ice, may already be behind us.
Add to this the statement of Indian scientist Rajendra Pachauri, who accepted the Nobel Prize on behalf of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change: "If there's no action before 2012, that's too late. What we do in the next two to three years will determine our future. This is the defining moment." He said this in December 2007.
Nothing is more urgent than a mass mobilization of people and ideas that can compel our governments and international institutions to confront head on the challenge of global warming and the reformation of politics this implies.
2. The second theme of the 09 Forum will be that there is a new cultural group emerging in the United States, Europe, Japan and around the world that understands the gravity of the multiple crises confronting the planet and which holds values consistent with positive visions of the future. Sociologist Paul Ray pioneered the initial studies of this group and is currently completing a new one, the findings of which will be released this July. He has coined the term Cultural Creatives to describe the people comprising this new culture. The conference will feature studies from France, Holland, Hungary, Italy, Japan, and Sri Lanka indicating that this emerging culture is in fact becoming a global phenomenon. Related studies will be featured showing that a high percentage of the new Millennium Generation (young people aged 15-25) shares these values, suggesting that this phenomenon is not only global and cross cultural but also cross generational.
The study in the United States is being conducted under the aegis of Wisdom University's Institute for the Emerging Wisdom Culture, directed by Dr. Ray, which is also developing the global network of similar studies around the world. For further information on the Institute:
3. The third theme of the 09 Forum is that complimenting the emergence of new values around the world is the emergence of the enabling technologies that can solve our global crises. We are not in a situation in which we have a crisis but no solutions. The solutions are already here. They are simply not being implemented. The Forum will profile the visionaries and activists developing cutting edge solutions, both technical and social. The people selected will be those who can frame our current crises within the context of their solvability. The emphasis will be on the "bright green" and "Veridian design" environmental approach to dealing with global problems and will focus on integral thinking and systems analysis. The goal is to link the emerging population that understands the need for urgent and constructive change with the innovators of the enabling technologies that can implement that change. The purpose is to catalyze people, solutions and resources into a movement of global activism.
In this spirit, the 09 Forum will highlight and network the technical and social aspects of the solutions we need to implement at a global level. A double helix of solutions -- one technical and one social, both emphasizing innovation - will be profiled, designed to enable people the world over to share ideas, compare experiences, and come together to build solutions to the challenges we all face.

I am personally working -with big efforts- to connect with founder and president of World Economic Forum Prof. KLaus Schwab, as WEF is truly a global stage. Just check my various entries since 2007 on it…
Other forums and events are important too.
So my focus is on action and strategy. I worked a great deal last 2 years in the F2F world with real people and real projects in the real world. Taking no vacation, no free time , only some time to breathe deeply again and again:):)
And I adressed it to lots of people:
The challenge is NOT visiting one event after the other. Its about the follow ups. the connectivity in real core groups which support each other. Its about focus, collaboration, intention ….and after all……its about real work. Few people act in this context over a larger period. Especially when living in different continents!
Its about tough committement… its about its about moving the edge in completely new alliances and adressing top world leaders in integrally informed and inspired ways. This needs bold leadership too.
Few have what it takes.
So, now the moment has come to co-create this big wheels. The best of all countries have to shake and move the edge.

Yes I do agree. Times are a-changing, like it or not. I actually think all these large scale activities are too bulky to have impact now; things moving too swiftly. Lean and mean, fast and forceful, little or no baggage… I'm watching the trend, and embracing it.

Yes, the enormity of global challenges requires alliances that appropriately ACT on the ground more than just TALK or WRITE. Indeed it’s encouraging that leaders are emerging focused towards this direction, keeping our hopes alive. Perhaps, Sherri is right that you are being called to lead for Germany and other countries, or make that regions.
Thank you for the links that make it more convenient for me to follow through on the Davos World Forum which I seem to have missed out on since I left my career in international development. Makes me wonder if I am being called back into this field as there are some noticeable signs lately. I’ll cross the bridge when it comes.
Talking and writing are of course essential for communication. Right now we have no public spheres worldwide where it all is communicated in one space. Gandh one said for real revolution you need a newspaper. Nowadays all old and new media must come together.
Actionism alone isnt sufficient.
Theory alone does not do it.
Its about concerted sustainable and effective informed, cordinated and far reaching action on a global level. Constellations of millions of people in ALL vmemetic patterns.
North to South,
West to East
Insife to outside,
outside to inside,
to name only a few challenges.
One step at a time; one day at a time.
And know you’re not alone on this case. Energies and thoughts and ideas are coming out from willing souls everywhere.
Let’s keep converging with them all and watch this beautiful world transform.

Unfortunately however the Germans are hesitant to communicate in Anglo American language spheres. And to act in them. So specific challenges and opportunites are waiiting. The same on a European level.
The real task is the learning curve or the hundreds learning curves to be mastered collectively. To master colective intelligence and presence.

We all have theories , and there are many that are amazing, keeping them to our selves , and not trying to give these gifts , can lose valuable time.
When I create , I seem to look at a bigger picture , and see the all.
I have been working on my art , as you know my art is healing , and is , and will be about teaching, and giving gifts of peace.
I have one painting , yet yesterday , I put together another.
It is of a tree, like the one before , yet this one is much more complex.
This one will need many people to work together to form a bond for UNITY, and world peace.
I t can never be about me , or you or them.
Giving the gift of peace is about giving , peace , and sharing , and working together as one.
Until this happens , I am afraid we can not climb the ladder towards this project.
Ultimately its beyond the peace and conflict. its about the righ dynamics and understanding of adaptive complex intelligencies. It not merely a feeling of unity.

There are many crisis, world wide,yet the crisis still continue , and , and continue.
The world is in a crisis, yet , people need to start talking , and coming together, and working together, networking, in unity.

This site would have to be able to old a huge amount of traffic, and it might hit fast , like a snow ball.
We would need to promote this , and also have a place where we could meet online like , SKYPE , yet better , and easy to use.
We would need to have programs so the world can link together , and also it done so the person talking does it in their language of choice.
We would have to have an airline, and magazine that would be willing to merge with many.
Also , this place would be a place that, many businesses would merge , yet still keep their own name, yet we would all work together.
I am willing to work my butt off , and work with many, yet I need , help guidance. and a major support team to put this baby up.
We could give gifts for UNITY.
No money, we just give.
Not sure about how that will work .
Yet I can see a Gaia Gold for the Olympics.

We could gather world leaders, that would merge, and be the voice, for UNITY. Each counntry could have there, connections, networks , etc.
Yet , we would all be connected, like each would have their Empire, Kingdom,with a strong bridge, that can withhold muc traffic going back , and forth to link , connect with all, so their would be many bridges , connecting, forming linking.
Say Gaia - UNITY would be the main , yet there would be other sites , that would be strong enough to withhold many going back , and forth, as we link as one.

Then again business is business, what if we could get each country to put in a sum for the research towards UNITY, and then we would have one or two , or a team of each country heading up their team, and co-creating with all. This would be an elite group of many teams, and they would work together with Unity, linkng , and networking towards world peace,education ,health , wellbeing.
Okay , this job, I want, and I will build, and grow, and work with all listen, learn, Respect all for who they are , no matter if they are poor , rich , or the colour of their skin , or what faith they believe in.
The time is now.
No stalling spread the word to all.

There is no masterplan for this. Not even under the umbrella of unity.
There are most complex constellations. The subersive approach of integral , Theory U and others are already gaining momentum and speed and impact.
The SDi core teams, the Presencing Institute Community and the Integral endevors of I-I are already prototyping.
Here at Gaia another form of Collective intelligence is developing power.
There is nothing to organize in centralized manner. Follwing and networking the already existing flows-according to ones own speicific inclinations- is the challenge.
And work for 26 hourss a day.

Dear Friends of the State of the World Forum,
We want to inform you that the upcoming State of the World Forum has been rescheduled from November 12-14, 2009 to February 28 – March 3, 2010. This has come about due to the extraordinary success of our endeavors and the fact that what was originally an intent to convene a conference has morphed into a global strategy to develop a 2020 Climate Leadership Campaign. Allow me to explain.
A year ago, we decided to convene the 2009 State of the World Forum in November 2009 to address the escalating crisis of global warming. We decided to do so using an integral framework, a perspective that was unique to the debate and which would allow for very synergistic cross sectoral dialogue. In early March of this year, I was invited down to Brazil to give some lectures on climate change and to speak about the integral approach we were taking on the issue. What took place can only be described as phenomenal. Each place I went, the response was not only an affirmation of the urgency of the crisis global warming represents but a willingness to begin working to develop a national mobilization in Brazil to support our efforts to mobilize action by 2020. Similar responses have been forthcoming in Australia, Holland, and Mexico and from a range of organizations and companies around the world.
To make a long story very short, four months later, we are launching a global 2020 Climate Leadership Campaign as well as launching a national Brazil 2020 campaign in Belo Horizonte, Brazil August 4 – 7 with over a hundred international specialists in climate change and several hundred activists from all over Brazil. The decision has also been made to convene the 2010 State of the World Forum in Rio de Janeiro August 30 – September 3, 2010. The emergence of a global strategy and such dynamic movement in Brazil has necessitated a reframing of the 2009 State of the World Forum in Washington.
There are four main reasons we are changing the date:

The urgency of global warming mandates that each and every one of us become climate leaders. For the first time in our lives, indeed for the first time in history, all of us must take responsibility for our climate, whether at the individual, community, company, institution, state, or national level. We are all responsible for global warming. We must all share in the leadership required to solve it, for nothing less than the fate of human civilization is at stake. The crisis is that stark, the choice is that clear, the leadership required is that urgent. If we rise to this challenge, if we take climate leadership, we will generate climate justice and climate prosperity because it is precisely our capacity to solve our greatest crisis that affords us our greatest opportunities for growth within the context of sustainability and alignment with natural systems.
