here is a presentation Don Beck gave last year in netherlands. During a symposium organized by Dutch Centre for Human Emergence:

Don wanted the 900 participants to stand up and sing the Dutch National Anthem. And indeed: They did it.

What an incredible impact would this have in Gemany! Although we did the same last year to during FIFA World Cup 2006 in Gemany.
It was positively thrilling, necessary and liberating.

Thank you for referring me to this post.
I first watched the part singing the Dutch National Anthem (and enjoyed the continuing presentation so much, I turned back to watch the whole video from beginning to end).
Very much I hope it can take less than five years! Now I understand a little bit about what you meant about the shadows, and how can they still linger. From all the way over here, I will be thrilled for everyone in Germany when the anthem can be sung freely out loud!
