About Me:
I was born and grew up in the Ruhr Area 1954 in Western Germany.
In the city of Recklinghausen
Like modern Advaita Teacher Eckhart Tolle who was born there too.. Unlike him I am highly interested in the evolving world of forms.Since 1980 I am living in Berlin. As this town is the most exciting convening point in
Europe
for me.
Studied medicine, practiced martial arts, meditation, some body work and I am most strongly influenced in my thinking by the evolving work-in-progress work of
Ken Wilber
since 27 years now. Besides thousands of other writers , explorers and philosophers. These two statements from Ken Wilber -from his foreword to Frank Vissers biography -summarizes much in a nutshell what it is for me too:
“An integral approach is merely an attempt to categorize, in conceptual terms, some of this glory as it manifests itself. But it is no more than that. Every one of my books has at least one sentence, usually buried, that says the following (this is the version found in The Atman Project): “There follows, then, the story of the Atman project. It is a sharing of what I have seen; it is a small offering of what I have remembered; it is also the Zen dust you should shake from your sandals; and it is finally a lie in the face of that Mystery which only alone is.”
In other words, all of my books are lies. They are simply maps of a territory, shadows of a reality, gray symbols dragging their bellies across the dead page, suffocated signs full of muffled sound and faded glory, signifying absolutely nothing. And it is the nothing, the Mystery, the Emptiness alone that needs to be realized: not known but felt, not thought but breathed, not an object but an atmosphere, not a lesson but a life. ”
And:
. “Philosophy, to have any meaning at all, must sizzle with passion, boil your brain, fry your eyeballs, or you're just not doing it right. And that applies to the other end of the spectrum of feelings as well. Real philosophy is as gentle as fog and as quiet as tears; it holds the world as if it were a delicate infant, raw and open and vulnerable. ”
BTW: I am no vegetarian and always appreciate a good steak. preferably Medium…:):)

Since 2002 and especially last 4 years another integral concept and perspective-in.action is impressing me more and more. Its Spiral Dynamics Integral.

http://www.humanemergence.org/
Rather than tracking what is “next” in terms of trends, theories, models, and programs, Spiral Dynamics Integral reveals the hidden codes that shape the evolutionary appearance of all such models. SDi offers a great deal, because it is crafted on an entirely new conceptual model of human nature, one that is rapidly transcending but including all that has gone before.
~ Dr. Don Beck
Its contributions on all levels, for me especially to large systems change and transformations., to global shifts of all kinds and to emerging and merging realties in developing AND developed worlds is most remarkable for me.
Global Integral is in its babysteps. There can be no doubt for me that SDi is pioneering this most important and relevant development and field testing of all kind on a global scale.
